Who ARE we?

We ARE a small congregation nestled in the heart of the "Old Village" of Lake Elmo.  The only congregation in the old village yet surrounded by large congregations - The Rock, St Andrews, Our Saviors, Trinity, Shepherd of the Valley, King of Kings, just to name a few. 

We ARE a family/community size congregation - not a program church.  While we do offer programs, the most important gifts we share are worship, education, community, hospitality and mission outreach, near and far. 

We ARE a Light, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the community of Lake Elmo.  Authentic, focused, people powered, intergenerational with the will to be involved in ministries on the margin.

We GET to change lives by working together proclaiming the Gospel, sharing our resources, our talent, our time and our money.

We are very proud of who WE ARE as Christ Lutheran in Lake Elmo, MN.

"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.  We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.  If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach, it if is to encourage, then give encouragement, if it is giving, then give generously, if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully."
