Mission Trip to New York - Summer 2010
Our summer mission trip is for ANY 9-12th grader. We'll be traveling as a group with Our Savior's Lutheran Church Youth. Michael's wife is the youth director there and will be the female chaperon on the trip.
Deadline for registration along with a non-refundable deposit of $100 is due to Michael by Sunday March 7th.
Travel Schedule: July 22nd - August 1st
Leave Thursday, July 22nd - Drive to Cleveland
Friday July 23rd - Drive to NYC
Saturday July 24th - Fun Day in NYC
Sunday July 25th - am in NYC, pm drive to mission
July 26th - 30th - Mission in NYC
Leave for home July 30th - Drive to Cleveland or Chicago
July 31st - Arrive Home
Meeting Dates:
Sunday May 23rd 12:00 - 3:00 pm - Kids Only (grill burgers, initiatives, team building - meet @ a park)
Monday June 21st @ 7:00 pm - Kids Only Team Training @ Our Saviors Lutheran Church (AIM Training)
Thursday July 8th @ 7:00 pm - Kids & Parents @ Christ Lutheran Church - Training, All Forms & Payments DUE!
Fundraisers:
Sunday May 23rd - 7:30 - 11:30 - Wash & Worship @ Our Saviors (parents need to help) - note we'll go straight from Wash & Worship to our Team Building Meeting!

Total cost: $650/person (includes all food, travel, t-shirt, activities & lodging)
Lake Wapogasset Bible Camp
Every summer our youth who have finished 2nd grade through 9th grade have the opportunity to enjoy a week at bible camp! We send our youth to Lake Wapogasset bible camp where they spend time in bible study, playing games, worshipping, swimming and having a great time with other youth their own age. There are many programs and activities that Camp Wapo offers and it is all up to the camper on what program they choose.
