Remembering....each week we will remember the baptism anniversaries of members of CLC.  If you don't see your name listed in the month of your baptism, it is because we don't have your baptismal date in the office.  Let us know so we can update our records.  This week we recognize: Audrey Olsen, Barb Bjorkman and Liz McNaughton.

Thank you to Heidi Lohmann for organizing this year's VBS, High Seas Expedition.  It was  a huge success with about 45 kids in attendance.  Thanks to all who taught, served, led, cooked, sang, acted and built this past week.  We couldn't have done it without any of you.

Women of Christ Lutheran:  Please join us on Tuesday, July 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room for a potluck supper.  Bring a dish to share and a serving untensil.  A sutdy of prayer will follow, led by Cleone Pritchard.  All three bible study sessions gather together for this special evening.  You do not need to be a bible study attendee to join us.  All women are welcome.  It will help us with planning if you would sign up on the bulletin board located next to the office door.  Call Lola Whalen at 777-0850 with questions.

Family Camp:  Join the fun on July 16-18 as the CLC families spend 2 nights camping at the Ct. Croix State Park in Hinckley.  Call the part directly to make reservations (320-384-6591).  If you have questions about the weekend itself, call Carrie Carlson at 770-6745.

Senior Lunch:  All seniors are invited for food and fellowship on Wednesday, July 21 at noon in the lower level.

Event Chairpersons are needed for the speciall activities our Women of the ELCA unit offers during th year.  These are short-term tasks which create happening like the Christmas Bake Sale.  See our bulletin board for the list of events and consider how you might help.

Save the date - Tuesday, August 3 - Women's Summer Salad Supper.  We meet for supper and fellowship.  Watch for further announcements.

Summer Mission Project:  We are beginning our annual drive to collect school supplies for children from struggling families in the valley.  Sales will begin soon so it's a great time to purchase these items.
