Facility Update after Congregational Annual Meeting
It is with the positive feedback from the congregation of Christ Lutheran that the Facility Task Force (FTF) is back on task together with the Capital Campaign Committee to move forward with renovation plans for our church. Both committees met on Tuesday, January 18th to receive the encouraging feedback that the vast majority of Christ Lutheran members want to move forward to grow and enhance our facility. On Monday, January 24th the FTF met to review the plans that were created by Busch Architects approximately 9 months ago. On Monday, January 31st, the FTF plans to discuss our review of the plans with Busch Architects and provide updated direction for a design that will more closely match the financial expectations described in the recent Feasibility Study. In the near future, we plan to present these updated design plans to the congregation for your information and input. It is the responsibility of the FTF to keep in mind the priorities of the congregation; those being: improve and increase the efficiency of the Sunday school classrooms, improve space for hospitality and fellowship and expand the narthex space to include a welcome center. We look forward to proceeding with Busch Architects and will do our best to be in frequent communication with you, the members. Please do not hesitate to contact any one of us should an idea be sparked or a question left unanswered.
