CLC Launches "Stepping Forward in Faith" Capital Campaign!
In 2008 we began exploring our physical space resulting in the creation of the Facility Task Force. In 2011 the excitment is building as we move closer to realizing or long sought vision that will improve our facilities to reflect our spirt as a welcoming congregation.
With our four primary goals in mind from the Long Range Plan we are banding together and Stepping Forward in Faith to kick off our capital campaign:
1) Improved-efficient Sunday School classrooms
2) Improved space for hospitality/fellowship
3) Expansion to the Narthex
4) Enclosed courtyard area for additional space
In the coming weeks you will have many opportunities to learn more about our plans and to learn more about this important step for us.
The success of our Captial Campaign will enable us to grow and enhance our facilities as well as sustain the vitality of our ministry. This campaign ensures future generations the opportunity to continue fellowship thorugh worship, spiritual growth, life celebrations, education and service to others in our community.
We are the Light, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the community of Lake Elmo. Please join us with prayer and faith as we embark upon this challenging endeavor to better share our gifts of worship, education, hospitality and outreach.

Gracious God,
You blessed or founding generation for its faithfulness and stewardship and for fifty-nine years have inspired and sustained our ministry. Now this generation is called to support the ministries of our congregation with the expansion and enhancement of our building. Teach us to realize that in giving we also receive. Challenge us to be generous, concerned for others and to share our gifts. Guide us in our decisions so that generations to come may continue together with Christ to pray, to serve and to give. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
