Children's Ministry: Camp, Vacation Bible School and Summer Programs
Lake Wapogasset Bible Camp
Every summer our youth having finished 2nd grade through 9th grade have the opportunity to enjoy a week at bible camp! We send our youth to Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp where they spend there time in bible study, playing games, worshiping, swimming and having a great time with other youth there age. There are many programs and activities that Camp Wapo offers and it is all up to the camper what program they choose.
Vacation Bible School 2010
Ready
for the voyage of a lifetime? It’s hard to believe but, Vacation Bible
school is just around the corner, this year we are going on a High Seas Expedition! Mark these dates
on your calendars: June 28 – July 1. The fun starts with dinner from
5:00 – 5:30, the expedition begins at 5:30 and ends at 8:00 PM and is
open to everyone ages 3 thru the completion of 5th Grade.
At High
Seas Expedition, kids will explore the mighty love of God on a journey
that will change them forever! Since everything is hands-on, kids might
get a little messy, so be sure to send them in play clothes and safe
shoes. Each night we will begin with a tasty dinner before we head up
for some cool songs, Bible point crafts, team-building games, and a
visit to the theater to see what kind of adventures Chadder the Chipmunk
will have this year. The kids will also learn some Bible stories that
will help the kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life-
something we call “God Sightings”. Get ready to hear that phrase a
lot!
The kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project
called Operation Kid-to-Kid that will let the kids in our community
blanket the world with God’s love. This year we will be making fleece
blankets to send to Tanzania on the next Mission trip.
