Adult Ministry
Via De Cristo/Cursillo
The Lutheran movement is called Via de Cristo meaning “Way of Christ” in Spanish. A via de Cristo weekend begins on Thursday evening and ends on Sunday evening. The participants live, study, worship and commune together daily. Through fourteen progressive talks, Via de Cristo gives those attending a living understanding of basic Christian truths. There is music, singing, food, fellowship, laughter and prayer. For more information call the church office of check out the website at sss.mnviadecristo.org
Library
Some may say we are a small church but we have a great library. Stop by and check it out. It is located just down the hall from the Parish Nurse office on the main office level.
Fair Trade Coffee
Fair Trade Coffee is available at Christ Lutheran. Many small coffee farmers receive prices for their coffee that are less than the costs of production, forcing them into a cycle of poverty and debt. Fair Trade is a viable solution to this crisis, assuring consumers that the coffee we drink was purchased under fair conditions. Enjoy a cup at coffee fellowship and take home a pound to brew at home.
Greeting Cards
Made by loving hands at Christ Lutheran, greeting cards cost only $1.00 and are a favorite to buy and receive. The cards are available as you enter the church at the parking lot entrance. People we don’t even really know sneak in during the week to purchase a card or two. The money is donated to Valley Outreach Food Shelf or other mission projects during the year.
